Hachem Ajam is a veteran healthcare professional with over 20 years of experience in clinical nursing, education, and quality management. With a strong foundation in critical care nursing and nursing clinical practice simulation lab training, Hachem has dedicated his career to improving patient safety, advancing healthcare quality, and fostering continuous professional development. He has spent nearly a decade in ICU settings, equipping him with a deep understanding of high-stakes clinical environments and the complexities of managing critically ill patients.

Hachem’s leadership roles, including Senior Clinical Learning Specialist, Nursing Education Manager, Staff Development Coordinator, and Critical Care Coordinator, have allowed him to develop and implement impactful training programs that elevate healthcare standards. In addition to his bachelor’s degree in nursing sciences, he holds a master’s degree in quality, Security, and Control of Risks Related to Care, and International American certifications in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and Patient Safety (CPPS), which underscore his expertise in risk management, patient safety, and quality assurance.His contributions extend beyond clinical education; Hachem is also involved in hospital accreditation programs, quality improvement initiatives, and safety protocols. He excels at managing and developing educational programs, including clinical simulation labs and life support programs. He is committed to empowering healthcare teams with the knowledge and skills to deliver optimal care.A passion for continuous improvement in healthcare drives Hachem. Dr. Mohamad Ibrahim, M.Sc., PhD., PGCert., EMBA., has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Over the years, he has developed expertise in areas of Risk Management, Patient Safety, Quality management, Strategic Management, Healthcare Informatics, Occupational Health, Food Safety, and Infection Control.Dr. Ibrahim received his Masters of Science in Clinical Microbiology, with an emphasis on infection control, from the University of Balamand. He then earned a Masters degree and a PhD in Health Sciences with a “Change Management” concentration from Cranfield University in the United Kingdom. Dr. Ibrahim has attended extensive national and international trainings and has received academic and professional postgraduate certifications from reputable institutions (WHO, Harvard Medical School, and others) in areas of patient safety, quality systems, infection control, informatics, and leadership in healthcare settings. Also, he is active member in several international professional organizations.

In addition to his extensive operational and executive experience, Dr. Ibrahim works as university lecturer, and is frequently requested to present in seminars and provide training and consultation services to healthcare institutions across Lebanon. He also served as a national expert at the WHO office of Lebanon and at the Ministry of Public Health (National Accreditation Program) and is currently a National Hospital Accreditation Surveyor at the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.

Dr. Randa Attieh holds a doctorate in Public Health from Laval University, Quebec, Canada with an emphasis on the management of the healthcare system in general and health innovation in particular.

With her multidisciplinary background in biochemistry, quality management in hospitals, and public health, she brings a remarkable experience in the field of healthcare, specifically in the areas of management of innovation in healthcare from decision making to use, health technology assessment (HTA), knowledge transfer (KT) from research to practice, the readiness of health care organizations prior to the implementation of evidence-based interventions, and the improvement of community awareness, behavior and practices.

Since 2016, Dr. Attieh has begun working as a consultant with different national and international organizations, including the World Health Organization, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, Switzerland embassy in Lebanon, and Lebanese Red Cross. She also joined the national Lebanese committee for breast cancer awareness campaign.

Dr. Hania Ishak brings more than 14 years of experience in the healthcare management.

Her background encompasses leadership success across multifunctional areas of expertise, including Strategy Management, Performance Management and Business Transformation.

She is particularly interested in developing innovative ventures in both Strategic planning and Change management with a strong passion for creating value-based optimizations and sustainable business models in healthcare.

She is an ace professional with strong project management skills right from the conceptual stage to planning and successful execution.

Dr. Hania is a Dentist and holds an MSc (Hons) in Healthcare Management from Royal College of Surgeons Ireland and earned an Executive MBA from London Business School from London, United Kingdom.

Dr. Gemma El-Sayar has over 18 years of healthcare experience working in the areas of nursing administration, operations improvement, and management at a private hospital in Lebanon.

She has demonstrated success in the healthcare field as both the nursing director and healthcare consultant over the years.

During that time, she has led with a very hands-on approach to the daily operations of the hospital and has developed proven strategies in the clinical nursing practices, nursing administration, strategic planning, and organizational management.

Dr. Sayar is recognized as a highly effective leader possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully implement strategies to achieve organizational goals. She demonstrated experience in managing change, people, programs, processes, budgets, and clinical practices.

She is an experienced professional in dealing with diverse personalities, managing internal and external conflicts, negotiations, facilitating collaboration and teamwork, and motivating individuals and groups through effective communication and outcome-oriented approaches.

Dr. Sayar holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, a Masters’s degree in Nursing Administration and a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration with a special focus on emotional intelligence in the nursing profession.

She has expertise in different areas including but not limited to transformational leadership, corporate strategy planning, training and coaching, organizational behavior, performance and compliance management, health information system and healthcare executive leadership.

Over 20 years of experience in various areas of the health sector, including healthcare management, quality improvement, infection control, and training.

Holder of a master’s in healthcare management and a post-graduate degree in nursing management, she recently achieved the Fellowship program for Quality and Patient Safety at The International Society for Quality in Health Care (FISQUA).

Having served in different leadership roles as a hospital’s Quality Director for 5 years and as a Nursing Director for more than 10 years, she worked on building a sustainable quality system advocating for patient safety and infection prevention, developing nursing care based on Accreditation Standards and Evidence-Based Guidelines.

‍

In addition to her academic experience as a university instructor for management and infection prevention courses, she embarked on a career in healthcare consultancy. She collaborated with the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, the Order of Nurses, primary healthcare centers (PHCCs), NGOs in Lebanon, and consulting firms in KSA and UAE, providing training and implementing infection prevention programs.

Marysa brings 15 years of leading & empowering others to drive meaningful improvement and transformation.
Her valuable insights are shaped by her time as CEO, CFO, Strategic Consultant, Instructor and Trainer in non-profit and for-profit organizations spanning healthcare and social service sectors. She has benefited from international experiences in Lebanon, France and the USA.Lately, she was appointed by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health as a national subject matter expert, to be part of the committee revising and updating the current Lebanese accreditation standards, according to international best practices and International Society for quality in healthcare (ISQua) requirements. She was also appointed as a trainer to cover different technical and leadership aspects.

Marysa has particular expertise and talent in improving organizational performance and building relationships with different stakeholders, by developing strategic frameworks, organizational and leadership capacities and processes where innovative programs can change organizations and communities.She develops effective solutions through her unique ability to assess complex issues and implement effective strategies to address them. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in business administration with a focus on innovating the continuum of care strategies.

Bassel Molaeb is an internationally recognized expert in infection prevention and control (IPC), with over 15 years of experience spanning healthcare systems, public health organizations, and global health initiatives.

Throughout his career, Mr. Molaeb has consulted for several major organizations, including the World Health Organization (WHO), and was honored to be selected as the 2019 International Ambassador for the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA), where he continues to serve on the SHEA Awards Committee.

‍

He is a Fellow and Hero of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) and actively contributes to various APIC committees and task forces. He also serves as a member of the APIC Faculty, supporting education and leadership development in IPC worldwide.

Since 2023, Mr. Molaeb has served as a Practicum Advisor for the Master of Public Health (MPH) program at the Faculty of Health Sciences at the American University of Beirut (AUB), as well as an abstract reviewer for the European Scientific Conference on Applied Infectious Disease Epidemiology (ESCAIDE), and a peer reviewer for the American Journal of Infection Control (AJIC).

Bassel holds an MPH from AUB and is certified in infection prevention and control (CIC®) by the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC).

Dania is an Executive Healthcare Advisor with over 20 years of experience in clinical nursing leadership, healthcare training, and workforce development. She currently serves as the Executive Director of the Academy for Training & Excellence at The Compass Health Consultancy, where she leads strategic training initiatives aimed at empowering healthcare professionals across the region.

Dania previously held the role of Executive Nursing Director at a university medical center, where she led and developed high-performing teams. She is recognized for her commitment to advancing patient safety and quality of care, as well as her ability to inspire trust through strong leadership and effective communication.

She has also served as a consultant, led healthcare quality audit projects, and contributed to academic advancement through advisory roles with various nursing schools.

Her proficiency in designing and delivering impactful training solutions directly supports organizational objectives by aligning workforce development with quality and performance goals.

Caroline is a distinguished healthcare executive, educator, advisor, and patient safety advocate with over 35 years of experience in clinical nursing, hospital management, and international health consultancy.

She holds a BSN and is certified in Operating Room Nursing (AORN). Her credentials also include a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma, and certifications from the American Institute for Healthcare Management as a Certified Quality Officer (CHQO), Certified Healthcare Risk Management Officer (CHRMO), and Certified Professional in Healthcare Management (CPHMG).

Caroline has held notable leadership roles, including Operating Room Nursing Manager, Nursing Director of Homecare Lebanon, and Scientific Affairs and Education Manager for the CEMEA region at 3M. She currently serves as Chairperson of the Emirates Nursing Association (ENA) OR Society and President of the AORN UAE Chapter. Recognized for her contributions to global healthcare, she has earned numerous prestigious awards.
